“And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.”
It is important for us, as believers, to partake in fellowship with the body of Christ. In 1 Corinthians 1:9 which is, “God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His’ Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” Fellowship is not something that is optional within the Body of Christ. We are called to gather together and fellowship one another that we might be strengthened in Him. The new disciplines of Jesus Christ also adhered to the breaking of bread so that they might do it in remembrance of Him, which Jesus commanded in Luke 22:19. Corporate prayer was also acknowledged by the early church as an essential. Corporate prayer has been lost in the modern church.
In applying this I will pray with my room, collectively, as a group; every morning.
